Sektor have been Put into The top Division of The KGL Season 6 out of the 5 divisions for this season. This will prove a big test for us againts some top teams. Prizes for winning are 5 x SteelSeries QcK minis and RTL-Servers will provide one of their High Performance Servers.

First game will be this Sunday againts Evergamer on contra (who ironically we are playing at 8 too in the sektor cup just an hour before).
After a couple of weeks of us just about getting by after keiji and eT0 we really need to bring in two skilled, active and dedicated members asap.
Sektor Gaming are an MGO which play CSS, ET, COD4 and COD5. We are sponsored by Darehost.nl, BeXxMaN BNC's and EXPOZE media.

To re-iterate we need someone super active, Sunday - Thursday between half 7 - half 10 if possible.
The community storm has today launched the second season of Storm the Front! They hope that this second season will be such a great succes as the first one! Of course there are the same great prices like in season one! The tournament singups are unlimited, everyone can sign up, there is no limit because they try to handle as much teams as they can! Season one had over the 100 teams playing, with the most of them European top teams.
All the rules are the same as other CoD4 tournaments, the only thing that makes this tournament so special is the double elimination. This means that you need to lose twice before you get eliminated from the tournament.
From tomorrow (29 June 2009) every team can sign up! The signups will be closed at 12 July 2009. Your team need to play one match every week and the tournament opens the week of 20 July 2009. The tournament will end when all matches are played, it depends on the number of signups.

There will be played the whole tournament 5v5 matched! You can sign up a team with 6 players (1manager or backup). And another important thing; the signups are for free so why don't just give it a try!
After getting contacted throughout IRC by zamtaj, I didn't quite know what to do, as we already got a few offers from COD2 teams, but all had to refuse them because of the lack of activity in the game. zamtaj, however, was good in convincing me as he showed some impressing matches up at ClanBase where they belong to the top 5 in the mainladder.
Also having LANexperience was a reason to talk further with them. Getting good top 3 - results at some of the Hungarian finest like, Cry-net.com LAN and ICL (Infinity Csarnok Lan) made us decide we'd give them a month of trialperiod, to see how they were doing at leagues etc. Having an eye on several ladders nr.1-spot and a some summerlans, I don't see how this can fail, but we'll stick to the month of trialperiod. We'll keep you updated on this by the 1st of August.

I would like to annouce officially that keiji and eT0 have both decided to move on and leave sektor css.#
Keiji will be moving to play with his brothers and a couple of friends in a new european team. Keiji felt it was time to move on and play with people he knows well and in person.
eT0 has moved back to former team Rasta|. Reasons for his move was down to him and wanted to play a lot more than we are currently and as he is very active I understand his move.
On behalf of everyone at sektor I would like to thank them for their contributions in and out of the game and wish them well in their new teams.
This now means we are looking for +2 players to be in our core team, trialing did start last night and we are advertising on the Enemydown and SGL website for talent.

After the transition to enemydown.eu happened there was uproar as the site was poor and nothing compared to .co.uk.
ED annouced last night that they have now brought back the .co.uk site in its full capacity.
Icarus, the head bot at ED had the following message to say:
"Enemy Down was founded as a community site. Even when it became a more commercial, the staff and admins have worked hard to keep it at it's roots.
Now for the bit you may (or may not) be expecting after the leak on Cadred last night. We've reopened the old site. You'll find enemydown.co.uk points to the older site, and enemydown.eu points to the new site.
We know you're not happy with the new site and we have recognised the fact that the ladders that you love and enjoy are not working to the high standard you've come to expect. We screwed up. So much so, that we've taken this drastic step.
For this mistake, I would like to say on behalf of everyone here at TNWA that we truly sorry. We hope this step works towards repairing the distrust and dislike that this has caused.
None of the data as it was a few weeks ago has changed. The site was frozen in time when we shut it down. We just thawed it out. So you can get back to playing in ladders and open challenges.
Don't worry about how the data looks on enemydown.eu for your clan/ladder for now. We'll have to come back to it and work out how to properly, rather than haphazardly, migrate the data across.

One heck of a busy night it's been. COD4 & CS:S tried their best to win all of their planned games, and succeeded, in some ways.
I'll give you an overview of this busy night, and I'll start with the evening of Sektor.CS:S.
Sektor.CS:S had an SGL-Game planned on 8pm, followed by the Sektor cup game at 10pm against Evergamer.
Our team has been doing pretty well in all leagues they are compeating in so far. Exept for the SGL Season 10... Untill yesterday 8pm they had 2 wins and 2 losses on the scoreboard, not looking good to face the leader of the Premier League; Sh!ts and G!ggles x-Rated. But still, they picked up every piece of courage to face them, surpised them, and took them with a astonishing 16-4 victory on de_tuscan!

Well done mates.
First thing to do when I got back home from my mathexam (which totally failed...) was to check on how they did in their second game of the night. Versus Evergamer They had a though game ahead of them, all predictions which were made last week, were in favour of Sektor, but it wasn't ment to be.
In a very close game Evergamer gained the upperhand and closed Sektor.CS:S in with a close 16-14 victory.

So far it goes for CS:S this week (or day even..). On the other hand we've got Sektor.COD4 compeating in a 23-team one-night-cup, hosted by Team-Element. With some topteams compeating in it, like Reason Gaming, Reason Female, Infused.cryo, Analistic Gaming. Sky...
So it looked very promissing, but when the cup was about to start almost all the topteams folded. Which made our team doubt if they still wanted to play in it, instead of searching top40-Clanbase wars. Here's a small overview of the games they played:

A mixteam playing under a pretty good name tho, Team - enlight Losing the kniferound didn't take our team's confidence away, they picked up their game and won easily with a convincing score; 13-5.
Crash Sektor Gaming [13-6] RCTIC - eSports
Getting through round 1 wasn't that hard, but I saw it coming, rctic were up next! I warned the guys, because I know them from the old days, when they were pretty good actually, reading on their site they've picked a new team, I did some research, and found out this team was equally good... By then the match already finished, RZNYY reporting to me: 'Easy match, 9-1, but came down to 13-6. Still well played.'
Strike Sektor Gaming [13-10] iCARE
Here I thought the same as I thought 1 hour ago... Same as against RCTIC. But beating iCARE wasn't a big deal either. But you can see at the result the fatigue was setting in. They still overcame the Norwegian team with a decent 13-10.
Citystreets / District Sektor Gaming [11-13] infused.cryo
Pumping nervs, swetting all over the place. Sektor.COD4 was right in front of their nose. With Team - Infused, currently one of the teams in the top15 in Europe, on the server, you would think they were ready to RUMBLE!!! But no, the cup was organised they had to face the best team at their worst map. Covering all maps but Citystreets they had no tactics at all on this map. But this only makes the result better, because it came down to a tens 11-11 when W1zard 's PC failed and he got disconnected. This unfortunate coincidence gave infused the opportunity to gain the lead and take the game home. 13-11 the score.
This match put an end to the Team - Element cup, which was held quite nicely, no problems have occured. So gratz to the admin-team at Element's!
Me and Ike lost the play-off-match yesterday evening versus 0puru.
This means that we ended without any award in this cup.
Two reasons for this loss and these are as follows;
-We still played at the old WARmod that obliged in this cup.
-Maps were: Suburban (aka Upheaval) & Castle. We nailed them on first map Castle [15-9], but at the second map, bad internetconnections struck! We didn't manage to pull off the win , so we lost at Suburban [5-16].
This was our first loss in this cup, and it's been already the last match of it. But rumours are going on for a 3v3-cup, and this is the cup where we will be taking revenge!
Everyone who was looking for clarity, who was wondering who these wondrous guys, that beat some good teams, are... Well I'm here to tell you that the line-up has been finalized and has stabled for a long time with the LANseason coming up!
Not much has changed, but LameH?! has been put into inactivity due studies and a journy ahead of him that will last for 6 weeks. So W1zard and his teammates went on a search for a fifth (after rznyy already replaced Joas/seftR). With family-bandings between W1zard and YYT.Dragons, they came in contact with empzor. A formaly player from the YYT.Dragons squad (& NCC).
With this new addition to the team they hope to get somewhere at COD4 and hope to fulfill their ambitions at the summerLANs, such as FOM11.1.
